About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Laser Engineer to join us on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and servicing laser hair removal machines, IPL machines, and tattoo removal machines, helping to ensure the best possible performance for our clients’ equipment. The role will involve travelling to different client locations around the UK to provide hands-on repair and servicing work.
Main Responsibilities
Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing laser hair removal, IPL, and tattoo removal machines
Carrying out on-site repairs and servicing for clients across the UK
Maintaining a strong working knowledge of laser technologies, including alexandrite, Nd:YAG, and diode systems
Keeping up to date with the latest developments, technologies, and best practices within the industry
Delivering professional, friendly service and ensuring excellent customer experiences
Working closely with the wider British Institute of Lasers team to help maintain client satisfaction
What We Are Looking For
Proven experience in laser engineering or a closely related field
Solid understanding of laser technology theory and experience with systems such as alexandrite, Nd:YAG, and diode
Familiarity with major manufacturers such as Candela and Lumenis would be an advantage
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
A professional approach and strong commitment to delivering high standards of customer service
