Common questions

Questions Before You Choose a Machine

Clear answers on machine differences, technology, finance, training and support.

What is the main difference between the three machines?

The Lite is the compact and portable model. The Plus adds a built-in visual skin analyser and interchangeable precision tips. The eRays Plus offers higher energy output than the Lite at a lower purchase price than the Plus, without those Plus-only precision features.

Do all three use the same wavelengths?

Yes. The published range uses 755 nm, 808 nm and 1064 nm. Suitability still depends on consultation, patch testing, appropriate settings and practitioner judgement.

Does contact cooling mean treatment is completely painless?

No blanket promise should be made about sensation. SuperCool™ contact cooling is designed to support client comfort, but individual sensation can vary.

What finance options are available?

Indicative weekly figures are shown on this page. Finance is subject to status, affordability and lender approval, and terms can change. Request a current written quotation before making a decision.

What training is included?

Purchases include Core of Knowledge learning plus bespoke machine training and certification. Training can cover consultation, patch testing, treatment settings, interface operation, cleaning, maintenance, documentation and aftercare.

What does the 48-working-hour replacement support mean?

It applies where a qualifying machine fault cannot be repaired within 48 working hours. The detailed trigger, dispatch and delivery terms are set out on the Warranty page. It is not a blanket promise of next-day delivery or compensation for lost appointments.

Does training automatically satisfy insurance or council requirements?

No. Clinics remain responsible for confirming the requirements that apply to their location, room, insurer, practitioner qualifications and intended treatments.

Can I compare more than one machine during a demo?

Yes. A demonstration is the right place to compare footprint, controls, precision features, current finance and the practical differences between models before choosing.
