About the Role
We are looking for a Field Service Technician who enjoys hands on technical work and days that involve travel. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and servicing laser and IPL machines for clinics across the UK. You will visit client sites, carry out routine checks, troubleshoot equipment issues, and help ensure each system performs as expected. The position suits someone who likes solving practical problems and working directly with clients.
Main Responsibilities
- Installing, maintaining, and servicing laser and IPL machines at client locations
- Diagnosing equipment faults and carrying out on site repairs when required
- Conducting routine performance checks to keep equipment running smoothly
- Recording service notes and reporting technical findings to the internal team
- Providing calm and professional support to clients during each visit
- Working with the wider British Institute of Lasers team to ensure consistent service quality
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in a technical, engineering, or electronics based role
- Comfort working with laser, IPL, or similar precision equipment
- Strong problem solving abilities and confidence handling on site repairs
- Good communication skills and a friendly, patient approach with clients
- Ability to travel regularly across the UK
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping
